Our story began in Bullcay, Ecuador, where Agustin’s family crafted leather shoes, passing down the skills of sewing and designing through generations. In 1989, after moving to the United States, Agustin found himself reconnecting with those roots in an unexpected way. A chance request from a friend to make a couple of bags led to the creation of his first designs. Using leftover upholstery fabric and his experience in shoe-making, Agustin crafted beautiful, durable bags that quickly gained attention.
What makes our bags special is more than just the craftsmanship. Each one is stitched with precision and care, using top-quality fabrics that are handpicked to ensure durability. We also incorporate natural elements from Ecuador’s rainforests, such as tagua nuts and other hand-collected seeds, adding a unique touch to every design. For over three decades, Agustin has continued to evolve his designs, taking part in craft fairs across the United States and sharing a piece of Ecuadorian tradition with every customer. Today, we’re proud to offer bags that not only look beautiful but are made to last a lifetime.
